Robo-Chotu

Undergraduate final year project at NED University

For my final-year project, I created a social robot called Robo-Chotu (chotu means small in Urdu). This project was a requirement for my Engineering undergrad degree, which I completed with a team of three other students. Robo-Chotu could interact with people around it, deliver speeches, and host events at NED University of Engineering and Technology and Dow University of Health Sciences. We also modified the robot to interact with children on the autism spectrum. We used Unity and Java for Android to design its animated face, control its expressions and Bluetooth connectivity to its body, and Arduino to control its actuators. The project also involved mechanical designing skills.
